For me, the field trip was really fun but also a bit tiring. Being able to walk around freely and taking photos of whatever we wanted to was really nice and different from a typical school day. The best part about the field trip was the duck pond because ducks are amazing. My photos turned out okay but they could have been better. I think that my strongest photo was the picture with texture of the bloedel. I think it was my best because it showed the texture of the bloedel and it looked really cool. Something that I’d do differently next time is to use better angles. I feel like I didn’t change my angles enough and they were all too straightforward.

This is the second photo assignment that we've done in Photography 9. This time, our assignment is on aperture. In the first photo, the aperture is the lowest and the background is the blurriest. The third photo has the highest aperture and the background is the clearest. The higher the aperture, the slower the shutter is.

This photo is from the toy story project. The story behind this photo is that the two characters in the photo were trapped inside some "human's" house and they wanted to find a way out. The photo to the left is taken when they finally find a way out. When looking at the photo, it should look like some sort of fairy tale happy ending where everything turns out alright.

For this project, I chose Snow White for my fairytale. For my two symbols, I took a photo of an apple and a photo of a mirror. The apple represents the apple that the evil queen used to poison Snow White. The mirror represents the evil queen’s magic mirror that she uses to find out who the fairest person in the kingdom is. The two characters that I took photos of are Snow White and the Evil Queen. Snow White is the protagonist of the story and she is the fairest one in the kingdom. The photo I took of her was supposed to be her kneeling in a circle of animals, but since I didn’t have any stuffed animals with me, I just took a picture of her looking at a flower. The Evil Queen is the antagonist. She tries to kill Snow White after her magic mirror tells her that Snow White is the fairest one in the kingdom. The photo I took of her shows her staring at the magic mirror as it tells her about Snow White. The climax of the story happens when Snow White is poisoned by the Evil Queen. The Evil Queen gives her a poison apple but since Snow White didn’t really like eating apples, she made it into a juice to give to her instead. Snow White drinks the juice and “dies”.

This photo demonstrates one of the principles of design, proportion, because even though it looks like a normal photo of a car in a parking lot, it’s actually a toy car right beside the camera. We took this photo by holding the camera in one place and adjusting the car so it looked like it was parking beside the other cars.

A good action photo consists of clear focus and it should capture a moment well. It should have an interesting action going on and it shouldn’t be blurry. The setting that I used to freeze motion was the multiple shots option. I feel like I can improve my composition next time and possibly getting my work done more efficiently.

For the original photo, I didn’t put a mask, all I did was adjust the curves. For the black and white photos one of them has high contrast and the other one has low contrast. For the blue ish photo, I adjusted the curves then adjusted the brightness and contrast. After this, I changed the hue and saturation and used a blue filter. On the other photos, I did the same thing but instead of a blue filter I used a red filter and on the other photo I used a yellow filter.
